Reimagining referrals: Introducing ePosting and a fairer way to hire

I’m excited to share a project that has been years in the making.

As Founder and CEO, I’m proud to introduce ePosting Corp: a peer-to-peer job referral marketplace to make referrals easy and rewarding for everyone in the hiring ecosystem.

Throughout my 25+ years working in startups, consulting, and global tech giants including Adobe, Accenture, and Cisco, I’ve seen firsthand how hiring fundamentally operates on trust, access, and timing, as well as the unbalanced nature favoring those with established networks.

Job seekers diligently apply to "open" roles only to find that many roles are filled through internal hiring and referrals, with cold applications often not considered in the process. But this reliance on referrals doesn’t necessarily result in the best hires.

ePosting addresses these inefficiencies. We’ve built a marketplace where:
- Qualified candidates gain access to opportunities otherwise stay in closed networks.
- Individuals can monetize their connections and expertise through their own “recruiting” side hustle.
- All elements of the referral process can be effectively managed.

Creating a level-playing field isn’t just nice to have; it's necessary for building truly diverse, high-performing organizations.

The idea behind ePosting first came to me in the early 2000s, when I was an initial team member at Bluedot Software — an enterprise SaaS startup focused on event management. We were building tools to help people connect, to introduce the right people at the right time. Interestingly enough, most of my passion and desire around software development / startup spanned from my early experience at the company.

From early engagements with leadership, I did learn that most of our business didn’t come through formal channels. It came from relationships and people. Someone who knew someone. Trust and quiet referrals. Informal introductions that led to real opportunities.

It was my first time seeing how much access came down to professional and personal relationships, and I started thinking: what if there was an intentional, structured, and fair way to connect people to opportunity?

That thought stuck with me and gave me a purpose to learn more about how organizations work.

I moved through new roles, helped companies scale, and led teams across big tech like Adobe, Accenture, and Cisco. I watched teams build incredible technologies for the business — except in hiring. Access to opportunities still came down to who knew whom. Great candidates still got missed. Referrals still happened behind the scenes.

The more I saw this, the more I kept coming back to my idea. But the timing wasn’t right. Sometimes the tech wasn’t there. Sometimes the team wasn’t ready. Still, the idea never left.

Two years ago, I founded ePosting to finally bring this idea to life. It took some time to get here, but, maybe that’s what made the vision even clearer.

Follow me if you're curious about how hiring really works behind the scenes, want to share in lessons learned and what we’re building here.
